Echos is our drumming and music making provision for settings for older people and care home settings. Echos incorporates African drumming, percussion, tuned percussion, gentle movement and community music making.
One Heart Drummers bring along a variety of drums and percussion, drum sticks and additional aids and always aims to match the session to the setting and abilities of the group. Light movements with shakers, African drumming and rhythms are created or we take our queues from the group if there is a rhythm that connects or songs that are remembered. Echos is designed to be flexible yet incorporate musical activities that are proven to be beneficial to care and older peoples settings.
